Hi Folks,
My 1st plastic kit in possibly 2 years. I took this on as the anniversary of the sinking in coming up this month and would give me a target to work too. I hope to have it finished for the next meeting. It Cried out for some Etch Handrails though and I may add these on during a visit to drydock at somestage in the furture but I just wanted a quick n easy build to get back into it.
The kits went together with relative ease so far depsite it's pedigree, Its 1/600 scale. All I did so far to add a bit of detail was to add the blast bags to the gun turrets with milliut, I need to shape those at some stage now. Heres a Few pics.
I have also bought HMS Iron Duke which I will add in the etch...They make a refreshing change from planes. sorry bout the qaulity of the pics, Taken on a hand held.
