That's a nice mixture, I'm dabbling a little in ships to break up my aircraft builds. It's an entirely different experience I feel.

Welcome to IPMS Irl Kieranfitz, glad to see another former modeller returning, - stay with the 1:72 aircraft kits. Don't have anything to do with maritime, not good for you, especially down in Waterford.

Hi Kieran,
I started with the Airfix Hurricane in IAC and it has snowballed... I've got a 1/48 Fouga Magester to build now (madness is looming)
Good Luck.

Welcome Kieran.
Maritime is good too, don't mind Opadag. There's a few nice 1/72 torpedo boats from Revell or you can get lucky and pick up one of the old Airfix E-boat, MTB or RAF Rescue launch. And the big u-boats are back on the shelves. Or you could go for smaller scale bigger ships.
Don't forget the possibility of some armour!
Whatever you do, just share it with us
Cheers Sean

, you could always combine the ships and planes into the one model and build aircraft carriers.....
If you tell people where to go, but not how to get there, you'll be amazed at the results. George S. Patton This space is for rent.(Sshhh! Don't tell the Revenue Commissioners, the IMF or the Dept of Finance, or they'll tax my stash!)

Armour? Dear god no, leave that sort of carry on to the cavalry heads. Funnily enough though a torpedo boat is the kind of boat I want to do, or a pbr. Building up to the minicraft 1/350 titanic Ive had since i was about 14
