Hi All,

Did anyone else take pics of the D1 Show in Swords, very little coverage of it on the Forum.

Also has the results section been updated yet?

Alan.

PS; Can we have a detailed report from Telford with loads of pics when members get back from Scalemodelworld

Patience........I've been busy organising membership cards for those going to Telford, and haven't had a chance to put up the results yet. (Seems that a number of our long-standing members had not got their membership cards up to now).

(You do know, don't you, that an IPMS Ireland membership card (cost €20) gets you in free to Telford, while an IPMS (UK) membership card - costing overseas members £24 - also gets you in free. (OK, OK, as an IPMS UK member you get their excellent mag as well, and entry to putting your kits in the kitswop at Telford, and access to their decal bank, and their instructions library, etc, etc....(cue John Cleese from the Life of Brian in "what have the Romans ever done for us".....lol)). (I know this, as I am a member of both IPMS Ireland and IPMS (UK)).....

Actually, if you have indeed got photos from D1, I'd be most grateful for them, as I am hoping to do a proper display about our Irish Nationals on the website of IPMS Ireland in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,

Philip

Georgeconna has pics up on his photobucket page linked in another thread below, and I've linked to it here;

If you tell people where to go, but not how to get there, you'll be amazed at the results. George S. Patton

Here are some more, rather poor, pictures from the D1 event:

Autofocus doesn't seem to have been working right that day: sorry, but at least they're not all wingy things....

Don't worry - some good shots (esp of the cars behind (hahaha!)). Actually, I had a mosey too on the photobucket albums you gave the link to - some great creations there - congrats!

Some great sci-fi's too......

Philip
