Is the 1/48 Lynx definately being released this year?
I had a vision, last year, of Airfix's Lynx on the front cover of the 2011 catalogue, with dudes who looked as if they were about to be interviewed by Ross Kemp. Maybe I was drinking at the time.

Who knows because Airfix just keep nodding & saying yes about release dates anytime they are asked!
However I thinks it's more interesting that when I spoke to the Model Alliance people at Telford this year (they build conversions kits in unison with Airfix), these guys claim Airfix have no release dates for their advertised lynx kits & so MA couldn't confirm release dates of their Conv kits either on the strength of this (72 & 48)..
Both companies had this theme heavily advertised the year previously at Telford (2010) & now its starting to look a bit embarrassing as we have kicked off 2012
I can only hope the new 48 selection inclu Lynx & BA kits are worth this wait..
Happy New Year guys
Roy K :)

Couple of 1/72nd scale 109's in prospect. Should be interesting to compare with the Tamiya ones that I have in the stash. If they are any good, no doubt they will be a LOT cheaper.....

I wonder if that new tool A-4 Skyhawk will be good? I'd be tempted to pick one up if so.

I'm looking forward to the 1/48 Jackal & Coyote and I guess I'll have to do the Landies as well

As well as the Chipmunk being released, I wonder what amount of work would be needed to convert the Tucano to a PC-9M?

Judging the two pictures together the Tucano has a much longer body than the PC-9M. Also the shape of the wings and tail of the PC-9M are much different to a Shorts Tucano as well. I'm not sure a conversion would be possible but I'll let the guys who know more about the PC-9M judge that.
