Yes you saw right,a V8 in a Mini.. It's in it's planning stage really, the convertible shell has been on a shelf for about 5 years now! While the chassis was a scratch built item for a 32 Ford that changed somewhat..So the chassis is being used back to front. The engine and blower are resin copies that I made. This is just a mockup shot to show tight things will be,the rear suspension may well change over the next few days... And a mockup with the shell in place..More as and when.

That looks cool. How much of the interior is scrach built? Are you going for the drag racer look or will it be a street rod?

Thanks James and sorry on the delay. In a nutshell the entire floor/tranny tunnel and bulkhead as well as the chassis are scratch built,it has progressed quite a bit since the last update too. The front end is now a one piece removable item and it has been sprayed Ford candy red- the new Focus colour.. The engine/box/carb and blower as well as the rear axle and rear slicks are all home cast resin copies of various kits..It will be taking more of a drag look than a rod.

Looks cool, all what it needs now is some hot-rod flames on the sides.
