In the Hawkins St. branch I saw the Italeri 1/48 Spitfire IX with beer kegs underwing for, I think, €21.99 and also the Italian-markings version of the EH101 Merlin for €15.99 or so. I picked up one of the Nimrods (box a bit water-damaged but contents perfect) as it's a steal for €25 and also an Italeri Tornado F.3 (only one present) for €22. It's great to see some recognition that lowering prices will tempt people to part with their money in a way they might not otherwise do - especially where larger and more expesive kits are concerned.

Remember - If you spot someone in trouble at sea, inland lakes and rivers, on the cliffs or coast, even if you 'think' that someone may be in trouble , dial 112 or 999 and ask for the Coast Guard. If you are in trouble at sea, call on VHF Channel 16, MF 2182 KHz or use DSC.

Big Delivery from Revell this week. Aririved into Cork were the following Highlights, Imagine the same round the other shops. E-4B 1/144  Revell Meteor 1/72 - Wayne have one on hold for you  Ventura 1/48  Loads of PM models as well including a nice Cessna that would suit an IAC model with a bit of work  Cheers George
