Hawker Hurricane in IAF markings

While in a toy shop with the daughter I noticed this and taught Why not.
I could of bought the Max Decals Sheet but no, i will paint the main parts and
Use the kit decals to fill in the rest.

So here is where I’m at with this one. I have it primed and the lower surface painted.
This is the white panel behind the roundel

This is the tricolour on the wings.

As I do not have much to go on, any input and advice is more than welcome.

It does look nice, one of your cannon barrels is bent a bit

PS: moved to IAC 90th anniversary GB

Thanks for the comments lads.

Filip if you look really closely you will notice that one of the cannon barrels is straight the other 3 are bent!

Thats due to poor kit quality and even poorer sotrage of the built kit.

I may try to make new barrels out of brass rod.

Today’s update,

I'm not sure if I have the colours right? Let me know what you think.

Anywho, next for this project are the black numbers and then the tricky job of the IAC bosses.

Thanks for looking,

James

James,
Super build and spray job. The Ocean grey looks a tad "blueish" to me, but then my monitor colour might be off. If you are happy with it - it's good.
What Tamiya colour did you use?

i'm not an expert at all, so I can't comment on the colours. But in my opinion, she's looking great, great spray job, really nice!

Thanks for the coments Lads.

@ David - I used Tamiya's Dark Green and Vallejo Dark Sea Grey on top and Vallejo Medium sea grey on the underside.
