Military, history, sci-fi, biography.... anything which might be of interest to the modelling folk /which is pretty much anything Blah /

Bomber Boys
Sunday 5th February, BBC1, 21.00
McGregor Bros are at it again and after their BoB aircraft feature there's another one coming, this time about the bombers and it looks like that they will be up in Lancaster.

PS: I've made sticky out of this one and we'll see if it'll catch up, if not, I'll get rid of it

THIS EVENING at 9 pm, BB1

As Fise said.....

Bomber Boys

Semi-documentary, looking at the lives of the crews of the Lancaster, during the war.

Will (according to the trailer I just saw) show shots of the BBMF Lanc, in flight.

Probably well worth watching.

War Horse: The Real Story

This Sunday 04/03, 20.00, Channel 4

Documentary telling the story of the million British horses that served in World War I, beginning with the mass call-up of horses from every farm and estate in the country...

Haven't seen the movie mind you, but this sounds interesting. Unfortunately it clashes with Antique Road Show, so there will be a bit of fight in front of the box.

Many of them were actually Irish horses. It's what made the Ballinasloe horse fair such a big event....

Cheers
