the new S-92 arrived last night in SNN and this morning I took some photos.
Overall the colour is Orange with white and a green band, it look very nice, I wish there was a kit available.
The photos werev all up close as there was a gantry around the machine.
Noticeable are the top of the rotors which are white and orange.
Irish Coast Guard titles are black on the sides over the wheels.
Reg EI-ICG & RESCUE are white on orange.

Hi Roy,
I spent my time walking around/over/in it and took a fair few with a sort of Walkaround idea. the crew were getting it ready, adding things to it.
but the cockpit (wall to wall glass) is something else, five screens (main ones) dials and switches everywhere - I have to go back and photograph that properly. It was busy in there this morning.
A pity there is no kit, and I suppose if one ever comes out it will be in that awful 1:48 scale!
BTW I tried to post some others but couldn't get it to work. I know it is me again.

Great photos and thanks for sharing. The green band is a really nice touch too - very appropriate.

Compared to what it's replacing, it looks futuristic.

Here's hoping of a kit sometime....just don't hold your breath.

Thanks again,
Dermot

Dermot,
thanks for the comments, It is futuristic, the S-61 looks sooooooooo old and dated near it.

Hi guys

See link below for rte news report on the new S-92 for the ICG

http://www.rte.ie/news/av/2012/0130/media-3183755.html#

I wonder if Joe Maxwell will bring out a set of decals for it eventually... hopefully someone will do a kit for it soon..

I still like the old s-61n - a real workhorse..

Alan.
