Hello and welcome to the IPMS Ireland discussion board. As you may have gathered, the website is still under construction, but we will be updating it soon. This is your forum, so please do not hesitate to add ideas and suggestions as to what you want to see here. Over the next few days, I will be adding more sub-sections to the forum, but if there is anything else you'd like to see, then post it in the 'Can we have' thread. In order to be able to post, you will need to register. You do not need to be a member of IPMS Ireland to be able to register, but be advised that there will be members-only areas on both the forum and main website going forward. Member's subscriptions are paying for this site, so it's only fair that they enjoy extra Please take time to read the guidelines, before you start posting.
If you tell people where to go, but not how to get there, you'll be amazed at the results. George S. Patton
This space is for rent. (Sshhh! Don't tell the Revenue Commissioners, the IMF or the Dept of Finance, or they'll tax my stash!)

Hi folks.
I've just registered and decided to say hello.
I'm an ex-pat (no jokes please) living in the UK for the past 22 years. I've been building models (badly) since the days of plastic bagged FROG and Airfix kits. I tend to build mainly aircraft and mainly RAF or Royal Navy subjects in 1/72. The odd Luftwaffe or Irish themed aircraft sneaks in from time to time.
I frequent a couple of other modelling forums and am a (fairly) regular visitor to the IPMS Farnborough monthly meetings.
I actually met some of the chaps from IPMS Four Provinces at Telford last November and I hope to be there again this year.
