Sci Fi isnt normally my cup of tea. Though someone gave me this kit so I had to try it out. One thing about sci fi, I think, is that no one can tell you that you got some detail wrong! And you also get to learn to write in clingon...... Now, If anyone can tell me whats wrong with this, there is a sticky bun in it for them........

Wings back to front?
Actually, pretend I don't know that. Lovely model, and fantastic painting.
What's my prize?
If you tell people where to go, but not how to get there, you'll be amazed at the results. George S. Patton
This space is for rent. (Sshhh! Don't tell the Revenue Commissioners, the IMF or the Dept of Finance, or they'll tax my stash!)

Aah, thats not fair, I really wanted a sticky bun,,, yours is the "Next Generation" version???, AMT ERTL I presume, mine is from Kirk's era (overall it's smaller than the ERTL model, but has a longer "neck" and shorter "head", the one that Mr Chekov calls a "Scout class wessel"). My model actually came from Paramount studios, ready assembled and painted, not sure what it's made of, it's definately not plastic or resin, whatever it's made of, it's damn heavy. A fella I knew when I lived in England had a Sci-Fi memorabilia shop and often went over to the US to get stuff, and he used to come back with some real neat bits and pieces, he got this one for me in payment for changing the clutch on his car, seemed like a good deal to me. Goes well with my D7 Battlecruiser,,, have you got anymore Star Trek models to show us, would be nice to see them.

I did have an enterprise (captain picards one). It was the one with all the fiber optics in it. Afraid it is now gone, even though it wasnt finished. Not the best model in the world, the bird of prey was more fun to build.
Though the SciFi stuff is fun to build. No one can tell you that you got a detail wrong!(even backwards wings)
