Hello all Ive been a busy little bee and made some advances on my 1/35 ISS, Its a paper kit again with free samples and such at the website page http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/I got the origional kit at 1:100 and Photoshopped it up to 1/35, Main Spar for the solar Truss is just inder 4 Meters, Ill have to donate this one to somehwere. 1st up is the center section of the Truss, S0, can anyone tell me what the model is resting on?  Next the Truss is attached to the Destiny module:  and rear view  Launced and Cadada Arm resting on it.  Mobile Platform installed  S1 and P1 Truss installed:  and in space, I hate Sag on a model so I have adjsutable supports to allow for Sag.

Attached to the rear is the Untity Module:  On top of Unity went the Z1 Truss and to the front is Harmony, I was at the launch of the Harmony Module, 5 ear bleeding miles from the pad, a few months later got to meet one of the astronauts (Daniel Tani) on that flight who was the person who installed & wired up the Harmony Module.   Installing the European Module Columbus  One of the S/P1 Radiators, This is their stowed Configuration,space permitting I will install them in open configuration at some point, Karl is for scale, at 1/35  Japanese modules, The white platform is the exposed platform, I was on the way home from work one night after watching the launch live at my desk and 18 mins or so later I saw the Shuttle & Fule Tank separate from the side of the N22, Pretty sweet.  The Outer parts, The Solar panel rotation drums and the Thermal Radiators.  Current configuration  Underside including Cupola Room with a view eh?????)    And for now the Starboard Arrays, one half of this was STS-115, Another mission I was at the launch of. 2miles to the pad and keys in the ignition......oh to be able to run faster than a sniper bullet...   Next up is the 16 solar panels ( 1 meter each) and then open Radiators, Russian Modules and Soyuz and then finally 1/35 Space Shuttle Discovery....sure let see that happen.... John

What type of paper do you use, is it every day printer paper or something else?

Basicaly its Premiere card from Easons or Art & hobby stores, Its re printed on A3 but the only difference is that the printer can take an A3 sheet...

Fantastic job ..its hard to believe its from card !
Remember - If you spot someone in trouble at sea, inland lakes and rivers, on the cliffs or coast, even if you 'think' that someone may be in trouble , dial 112 or 999 and ask for the Coast Guard. If you are in trouble at sea, call on VHF Channel 16, MF 2182 KHz or use DSC.

On my last trip home I carried a few new modules home with me and intalled the model on a temporary hook. BCO are going to intsall a permanent one and I will add more modules as I visit home. I was delighted to have it out of storage and get it all assembled.     External Stowage Platforms All three so far, One more to go...(Truss had all its voids cut out.....)  Really is an International Space Station Model. Designed in Florida. Built in Annapolis, Washington DC, Cork, Virginia, NYC, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cork and Dublin.... Its been a busy few months for me....
