Jason, those are too small. I can try to cut a masks of them for you, if that would be of any help?
Will have to try it first and will let you know

Yeah, I though they might be! I'm gonna try to cut a stencil myself today, and if that doesn't work I think I'll just do it freehand, it's so small that I just need to get the sense of it. I'll get a fine felt tip marker today just in case. Thanks anyhow!

Just wanted to add some pictures taken in better light outside, and I've also done a final bit of weathering to the railings and tried my best to do something with the flag. This model is now in its case never to be touched again, or I'll end up trying to get something 'just right' and feck it up...

Lovely job! I have been watching (and admiring) the progress of this for some time.

Sorry I am going to miss it, as I will not be there on the 19th (have to go up to Donegal to see the mother in law for the long weekend....SWMBO's orders!!)

Looking forward to seeing "the Doctor" in due course. Are there some Deleks? (WE OBEEEEEY!!)

Hi Philip,

Thanks a lot! Am relatively happy with the flag, it gives the general idea, but is very tough to get perfect, especially freehand at that scale. Was tempted to try it again, but only made it worse and nearly tore the decal in two, so it's not being touched now!

No Daleks I'm afraid, it's the Welcome Aboard kit ( so it's the Tardis, the Doctor and Martha ). Actually it's being quite awkard, mainly due to the terrible Humbrol paint that comes with it. I got a Revell Aqua Colour blue to replace the Humbrol blue ( as they don't give you enough! ) but a lot of the other colours are fairly unique to this kit, so there's no choice but to use them. I was trying to do this kit as a bit of fun, but my need to get it 'right' means I'm causing myself more hassle than I'd planned. My own fault really though! Am dreading painting the figures, I can't imagine getting them life-like at all!

J.
