Mostly glue with the superglue. It snaps off easily afterwards. Bigger parts - like canopy in this case - blu tac. Greetings Eryk

Nice idea with the newspaper clippings and those figures suit it well too. Hoping to see it in flesh in Shannon?

Eryk
That's a lovely job - so much going on. (You can FEEL the cold!)
I presume it will get its first outing in May at IMSS. If you are not entering it in the competition there, it's welcome on our own table (we have been offered a table there again).
Then of course in the aircraft diorama class in September at the Nationals....

Good work. the only quibble9Funny word that) I would have is with the figures in Short sleeves while there is snow on the ground. Speaking from personal experience-when it's cold in Finland it's very cold and even if you're working hard you need to wrap up well

Excellent! I totally missed this thread. Fantastic work and I like the addition of the newspaper cuttings. Love how you made the trees too as I've never seen that method before. I would agree with Pat too, I spotted the short sleeves on the soldiers as it stood out as being incongruous with the character of the scene. Great work all the same. Well done!

A really beautiful job overall. I'm very impressed with the attention to detail, particularly on the painting of the 1/72 scale figures. Well done!

I have to say it looks great. There is so much work gone into this and it shows. It's not a model on a base and the base is there just to make the model look good. It is all one. You are telling a story. I would be happy just to make a Hurricane half as good.
I may have missed it, but how did you do the snow on the ground and the light dusting in the plane?

Excellent work Eryk, very well done! great to see that kind of effort in an Aircraft Diorama.
The positioning of the Figures, Aircraft, Gun emplacement and the Horse & Cart achieve a well balanced scene. could I suggest maybe adding a bit more detail to the Aircraft Emplacement if it was me I would have a bit more bits lying around but thats me.
Keep up the excellent work
Alan.
