Vincent - is that a re-box of the old one, or a new tool?

I believe it is the old kit re-boxed with new decals.
If any of the other recent Airfix releases/re-releases are anything to go by, decal quality should be very good.

Not wishing to disagree of course, but I've heard that the current Airfix decals are not the best (at least, according to all of the internet reviews). Certainly, the Spitfire and Me 110 ones were supposed to be prone to silvering, and didn't react to MicroSol and MicroSet.

Also, if it is a 30 - 50 year old kit, perhaps the originals have less flash etc than the current re-boxings.

Mind you, the decals for the Duck do look attractive......particularly that Alaskan option in red and blue.....might be wortth buying Mr Mark Softer just to try it out.

That's a good idea for a discussion, about Airfix decals, so I created a thread here. We don't want to hijack George's thread after all. Sorry
