1/72 CG-71 Ticonderoga class missile cruiser. Been in progress for a few years now. I might finish it one day. It measures just over 8 feet in length.

This was a nice one. I to wonder if it's a kit or scratch-buil?

Thanks. It will be mostly scratch built, but started out as a semi-kit. I bought it from Task Force 72 in Australia several years ago. They are a 1/72 scale radio controlled ship club. They once had a store where you could buy most of what they built, but I haven't seen it on line in a while. It came with the hull, block house, weapons kits, some doors and fittings, propellers and shafts, the rest is up to you. Fortunately for me, I used to have available the opprotunity to board these ships for photos before 9-11 took place and I took about 500 photos. It's not easy to get permission for that now.
