First of all I must say I'm not an expert Shame on you ...also had a problem with painting eyes and read many internet tutorials about that… Brick wall
Maybe I was not lucky enough to get so good figures to paint high detailed eye. All my figure’s eyes were about 0.5 mm diameter! Eh?
So I decided to paint white eye and make grey/black point on the top layer… after weathering effect maybe isn’t perfect but I thing good enough for 1/35 scale

Cheers,
Yeah ill post a bit of a run down on what i did, but ill take a few better pics first with a real camera, so detail can be seen better.
Though im only really learning with figures, I dont do them that often. Im sure there are others with far better techniques.

Great stuff, I wish I could paint dogs like that! I think a lot of figure painting is subjective, often in 1/35 you don't have to accurately paint detail, just hint at it! Painting eyes is like that too - if it looks great then that's it! Even if you have a system, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes you just want to create a mood or expression. I like your figures as they are, carry on and show us more, please!
