Just to get things started, following Philips suggestion in Dermots introduction, here's some of the Sci-fi I've done over the years:

Fine Molds Slave 1

Fine Molds Y-wing

1/48 Hammerhead from Space: Above and Beyond

1/72 Viper II & VII & Cylon Raider (all resin)

1/72 Star Wars A-wing (resin)

Fine Molds 1/72 Tie Fighter

Fine Molds 1/72 Tie Interceptor

Fine Molds X-wing

Aliens APC 1/35

Aliens Dropship 1/72

Snow-speeder deployed on a jungle planet

Revell origional Viper in 1/32

Fine Molds Jedi Fighter with Hyper ring in 1/72

Didn't realise I had so many! The quality of the builds varys as much as the quality of the photos....
Unfortunatly all in the attic due to space limits, but I'll dig some out for the next meeting. I've noy actually build a Sci-fi kit for a few years, but maybe soon. The Mobeus 1/32 Vipers from Nu-BSG look very nice

Now, I've shown mine: will you show yours?

Cheers
Sean

Some cool builds there Sean, loving the At-At and Millenium Falcon in the background!

Well, no pics of my TIE Interceptor or Bird of Prey exist, and you can see my Tardis in the build thread on here. I have managed to find a couple of pics of my Enterprise D. It's the one with the Fibre Optics, but before you get your hopes up, they don't work in these photos. In fact, these are the pics I took before it went into the bin, as it was pretty wrecked ( you can see my hand in the pic, holding it together! ). I made it in the early 90s, and it didn't age well. Big fecker though!

J.

The AT-AT is the AMT one: pretty crap!
The MF is the Revell snap-kit my son did when I was trying to get him interested in the hobby - it did'nt work. He prefers the playstation or Lego SW:

Science Fiction is always a favourite.

My current project is the Sulaco from Aliens

I expect it will be about 3m long when completed

Pic Heavy Post!

I finally got into the man cave and after much rummaging in boxes (and cursing), I found the following..

For starters, some Revell Star Wars kits - first three from when I lived in the UK, others from a sale last year in Toymaster, Dublin

Always liked the look of this one and with a bit of improvement could be good

Small pod. 2 big engines. Nice

And the ones from the sale.

The Snowspeeder is slightly smaller than the old AMT release but couldn't resist it being less than a tenner. Might tackle this one first next year, open up a speedbrake, tart up the cockpit, etc..

Teeny tiny Falcon.

This one from the Clone Wars cartoon series and a big kit to boot. Nice price too.

A Sulaco, also from when I lived overseas. This is a small kit! I also have the APC somewhere, just couldn't find it during the rummage...

And lastly some classics....I got a present of the Falcon from a generous Uncle in the 'States when the movie came out.

This one I will definitely re-build some day....more like crazy paving than panel washing!!!! (ahh, the innocence of youth)

Think I bought this one in Marks Models at some stage. Not a bad kit but I never liked the white on the rider and the pose was stiffer than a big tree on a certain forest moon....

And the one that started it all off. I don't know where my original ended up but got this off Evil bay about 5 years ago. Don't know whether to build it or just leave it!

Thanks for looking and enjoy your modelling.

Thanks for the compliments on the Sulaco, it is a great kit but I cannot take credit for the paint job. All that joes to my friend Jan Rükr.

It is a free paper kit that you download and print out. Normally it is printed to A4 paper which will give a completed length of 2.75m but I have printed to Suber B paper which will give me a model of 4.2m.

Have a go yourselves
